Originally from New Jersey, I first visited Arizona in 1975 on an extended vacation and fell in love with the mountains and desert landscape. I went back to New Jersey with an intense desire to return to Arizona and make my home there. That happened in 1978 and I've lived here in Cochise County ever since. I love exploring and photographing the beautiful high desert of southern Arizona.
From 1999 to 2004, I was involved in various ways with the digital photography contest website, DigitalPhotoContest (DPC). I was a regular judge of contest entries as well as manager/coordinator for the judging process. During the early years of that same time frame, I created and managed a popular Web-based photo critique community, Photo Critics. The DPC sister site, DigitalPhotoCritique (DPQ), was developed based on the success of my Photo Critics community. I continue to volunteer as needed as a photography judge for photo contest websites.
From my first 35mm Yashica rangefinder, which I cherished as a teenager in New Jersey, to the Canon 5D Mark III I use today, I have passionately captured the world around me in photographs so that I can share them with others. I hope you enjoy the photographs I have chosen to offer here. Thank you for visiting!
